🇮🇳 “Rashtra ke Prahari” – A Week of Patriotism and Purpose at SJS GGSSS, Silana 🇮🇳

SJS GGSSS, Silana proudly organised a multi-day thematic programme titled “Rashtra ke Prahari”, a celebration dedicated to honouring the spirit of nationalism, responsibility, and unity among students. With the powerful motto of “Serving the Nation through Awareness and Action,” the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff alike.

🗓️ Day 1: Inauguration & Pledge Ceremony

The event commenced with an Awareness Assembly where the Principal, Sh. Mahinder Singh Yadav, addressed students on the importance of being true sentinels (प्रहरी) of the nation—not just in uniform but also in everyday life through values, discipline, and responsibility.

A special “Rashtra ke Prahari” शपथ (oath) was administered, in which students pledged to uphold the unity, dignity, and safety of the country, while also vowing to respect women, follow truth and non-violence, and always remain alert and prepared to serve the nation.

🎨 Day 2: Poster-Making & Slogan-Writing Competitions

Creativity took centre stage as students from various classes participated in poster-making and slogan-writing competitions based on themes like:

“Safety First – Always Alert”
“Proud to be a Prahari”
“My Nation, My Duty”

The colourful display of ideas combined artistry with social awareness, reflecting the students’ deep sense of patriotism and imagination.

🌸 Day 3: Rangoli Competition – Art with a Purpose

The school hall turned into a vibrant gallery as students created beautiful rangolis symbolising India’s cultural unity and national pride.
Principal Sh. Mahender Singh Yadav announced the winners:

🥇 Neha (Class 12) – 1st Position
🥈 Trisha & Mitali (Class 7) – 2nd Position
🥉 Khushi & Kirti (Class 8) – 3rd Position

The creativity and teamwork displayed were truly commendable.

📢 Day 4: Skit, Speeches & Awareness Walk

A spirited day where students presented short skits, speeches, and slogans on:

Role of Army and Police as “Rashtra ke Prahari”
Importance of youth in safeguarding national values

An Awareness Rally was also organised in and around the village, where students marched with placards and shouted slogans on road safety, women’s safety, and civic duties. The response from the community was overwhelming.

🌟 Conclusion: A Step Towards Responsible Citizenship

“Rashtra ke Prahari” was not just a programme but a movement of awareness, commitment, and patriotism. The week-long celebration inspired every student to become a responsible citizen who not only respects the country’s values but also lives by them.

SJS GGSSS, Silana continues to nurture such ideals under the visionary leadership of Principal Sh. Mahender Singh Yadav, who believes that true nation-building begins at school.
