The vibrant festival of Haryali Teej was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit at SJS GGSSS, Silana, Jhajjar on 25th July 2025. The school campus came alive with the colours of tradition, creativity, and student participation. The event was beautifully organised under the guidance of Banita Mam, with the cooperation of all staff members.

The celebration featured a wide range of competitions and activities including:

  • Mehendi design competition

  • Reading and writing activities

  • Cultural expression through poetry and stories

  • Traditional dress-up and presentation

Students from Classes 6 to 12 participated enthusiastically, showcasing their talents and understanding of cultural values. The occasion was not just a celebration of the festival, but also a platform for students to express themselves confidently.

All teachers actively supported the event and ensured smooth execution:

  • Preeti Mam, Meenakshi Mam, Madhu Mam,

  • Surinder Pal Sir, Amit Kumar Sir, Sushma Mam,

  • Jagbinder Sir, Manjeet Sir, Sangeeta Mam,

  • Suman Mam, Neeru Mam β€” all played vital roles in coordinating and managing various segments of the programme.

🎁 Gifts and Prizes:
At the end of the celebration, Principal Sir, Mahinder Singh Yadav, addressed the students and praised them for their vibrant performances and discipline. He distributed prizes to winners of the various events and appreciated the efforts of the teaching staff.

A special note of gratitude was extended to Meenakshi Mam, who took the initiative to arrange thoughtful and beautiful gifts for students, adding a special charm to the celebration. The entire teaching staff also contributed towards arranging the prizes.
